The previously empty lot at the corner of Main and Walnut streets has been bustling with activity since Life Ray came to town last August. Founder and executive director Nancy Hutchison and her husband, John, brought their nonprofit business to Willits to live out their life’s work of eliminating radioactive contamination, sharing innovative ideas and developing devices that will decrease the world’s dependence on oil.
